• My love for all things beauty and skincare stems from my glamorous grandmother who bought me my first set of skincare products (Yardley Oatmeal Cleanse-Tone-Moisturise) when I turned 13.

  Whenever they came to visit, or we went to see them I'd say my polite hellos - and then be off to inspect her vanity and dressing table, and my achilles heel - the big bathroom cupboard. Always smelling of new amazing lotions and potions!

  I also always loved watching her and mom doing their makeup - I remember just sitting there in awe sometimes at how they can basically paint themselves so pretty!

  Never ever would I have thought that one day I'd have my own beauty brand! If they were both still here I know they would be so so happy about it all.

  Makeup for me is part of my every day ritual. It's the time of day that I have to myself with a cup of tea and my favourite podcast or Youtube video or audiobook - I love, love, love it. And any time to get a bit glammed up before an event or date night is my favourite.

  So as much as I love and obsess about skincare I'm also on a never ending quest for the perfect foundation, bronzer and hopefully one day, the elusive liquid eye liner technique.

• It’s recommended that you clean your brushes once a week.

  You will need a small amount of baby shampoo, a gentle face cleaner or makeup brush cleaner

  Run the bristles under lukewarm water and very gently rub to create a light lather. *Do not use hot water or soak your brushes in water - this can damage your brushes.

  Make sure to rinse your brushes thoroughly - until the water runs clear and all pigment is removed

  Air-dry your brushes either by laying them flat on a flannel or towel or standing up in your brush holder
